Whitney playing no not the dancing with somebody one - just as well as Hero prefers walks and cuddles to dancing, though he's only a head and a half shorter than me when I try and waltz him round the living room.<br />

<p>Conwy Castle was built by Edward I, during his conquest of Wales, between 1283 and 1287. Constructed as part of a wider project to create the walled town of Conwy, the combined defences cost around £15,000, a massive sum for the period. Over the next few centuries, the castle played an important part in several wars.<br />
<br />
UNESCO considers Conwy to be one of "the finest examples of late 13th century and early 14th century military architecture in Europe", and it is classed as a World Heritage Site.</p>

<p>Conwy castle a medieval fortress still towers over the town of Conwy after 700 years, It’s enough to take the breath away. Especially when you consider that King Edward I and his architect Master James of St George built both castle and walls in a barely believable four years between 1283 and 1287.<br />

<p>A much clearer view ,as there has been clearance between the track and the retaining wall, since my last visit.</p>
