<p>Pucks Castle, Rathmichael, Dublin.  The castle, now in ruins,  was actually a fortified house, was built in the late 16th century. It provided a refuge in 1690 for James II and his army fleeing the Battle of the Boyne. [Wikipedia] <br />

The Castle is in a field near the road on the southside of Dublin.  There were no cattle in the field on this occasion so I made a brief visit.
