Warsztaty tramwajowy i autobusowy świadczyły usługi rzecz jasna głównie dla MPK, ale też szukały innych zleceniodawców. Zaś MPK z kolei szukało alternatywnych wykonawców remontów tramwajów, wysyłając tramwaje między innymi do ZNTK-ów, czyli Zakładów Naprawczych Taboru Kolejowego w Nowym Sączu czy Lubaniu Śląskim. Między innymi wagony ze zdjęcia w ten sposób zostały wyremontowane. Pierwszy wagon powrócił z charakterystycznym, odmiennym detalem w postaci nieco odmiennego wykroju wycięć na wózki.<br /> <br /> <br /> In the early 1990s, MPK in Kraków was a giant, with its own tram and bus workshops, a construction company, track facilities, taxis, and a large spare parts warehouse.<br /> After being split into six companies, two of them quickly went bankrupt. The tram and bus workshops, of course, provided services primarily to MPK, but also sought other clients. MPK, in turn, sought alternative tram repair contractors, sending trams to, among others, ZNTKs (Railway Repair Plants) in Nowy Sącz and Lubań Śląski. The tram cars in the photo were among those renovated in this way. Więc takie małe wspomnienie. I ciekawostka przy okazji - w tamtym okresie reklamodawcy zainteresowali się reklamami na tramwajach tak intensywnie że MPK zdecydowało się zrezygnować z malowania tramwajów po remontach w swoje barwy zakładowe, wagony wyjeżdżały jedynie z podkładem, później zaś były malowane w reklamy...<br /> <br /> <br /> At the beginning of June, trams will finally return.
