An evergreen forest stretched off in the distance. Mount Shasta seemed to rise into the skies above. This is in Shasta-Trinity National Forest with Mount Shasta as a distant backdrop. <br /> <br /> I did some initial post-processing work making adjustments to contrast, brightness and saturation in DxO PhotoLab 8. This picturesque setting is looking to the southeast with majestic ridges and peaks of the Mount Shasta standing tall in the distance. The view is looking to the southeast across a grassy meadow with an evergreen forest and hillsides on the distant side.
