This gate is part of the south portal of St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague, known as the Golden Portal. It features bronze reliefs designed by Czech sculptor Jaroslav Horejc in the mid-20th century. The reliefs depict scenes from the life of Saint Wenceslas, the patron saint of Bohemia, and Czech history. This gate was added during restoration efforts after World War II to symbolize national resilience and cultural continuity. It marks the ceremonial entrance once reserved for royalty and now often admired for its artistic and historical significance.
