Now, I’ll be able to dehydrate healthy things like kale! Death before kale!<br /> <br /> Getting it out of the box was a bit awkward, but I turned it on its side and pulled it out. The assembly instructions were crap and barely in English, but it was pretty obvious where all the parts went. The main thing was to remove the big shipping bolt that keeps the carousel from spinning while it’s being shipped. It seems well made and substantial. Once I attached the wheels, it’s much easier to move about.<br /> <br /> I have made bear jerky from real bear meat when I lived on the East Coast where hunting bears was legal. I didn’t have any real bear meat handy so I stuck Little Texas Aggie Bear inside and “let ‘er rip!” When I pulled Aggie Bear out of the “box”, he was angry, but he was nice and warm — like a real live bear.<br /> <br /> The recipe book that came with it is great. I took this awesome photograph at Pioneer Plaza in Downtown Dallas. For those of you who don't know where Pioneer Plaza is Pioneer Plaza is a park decidated to the founding of Dallas back in the 1840s (1841 to be exact just four years before Texas became a state in 1845). In 1841 John Neely Bryan founded the city of Dallas. In case if you're wondering there has been multiple theories on how Dallas got its name (some say after George Mifflin Dallas and others say the village of Dallas, Scotland and yes that is a real village in Scotland look it up for yourself)<br /> <br /> Nearly 200 years later, the legacy of early Dallas lives on at a park with also a cabin and a nearby cemetery.
