It captures a scene of community and unity during a crisis, using bread-making as a metaphor for how individuals contribute to the collective "rising" or health of their city.

Tram Line 2, inaugurated in its current riverside form in 1947, is a 6.0 km scenic route connecting Jászai Mari tér to Közvágóhíd along the Pest embankment. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage "moving sightseeing tour," it offers views of the Hungarian Parliament, Buda Castle, and the city's iconic bridges. The route utilizes specialized articulated trams with narrower profiles, a design necessity for navigating historical tunnels beneath the Chain Bridge. The Budapest tram network, established in 1866 as a horse-tramway and electrified in 1887, is one of the world’s most extensive and busiest, serving as a primary backbone for the city's transit system with 36 lines and 174 km of track.
The KCSV-7 (Korszerűsített Csuklós Villamos, Type 7) is a modernized variant of the Ganz CSMG, refurbished by Ganz and BKV between 1996 and 1999. While retaining the classic eight-axle articulated body, the 30 units in this series were upgraded with advanced IGBT chopper traction control, energy-efficient regenerative braking, and improved passenger comfort, including electric heating and enhanced interior lighting.

Ágnes Keleti (1921–2025) is Hungary's most decorated female Olympian, having won 10 medals (including five golds) across the 1952 Helsinki and 1956 Melbourne Games. A Holocaust survivor, who survived by assuming a false identity as a maid while her father and other relatives were murdered at Auschwitz, emigrated to Israel following the 1956 Soviet invasion of Hungary, where she founded the national gymnastics program.

This statue of Wittelsbach Erzsébet, Erzsébet királyné (Empress Elizabeth), designed by sculptor R. Törley Mária, was installed in Madách tér (Madcach Square) on November 15, 2018.

The namesake of the neighborhood, Erzsébetváros, in which the statue sits, Duchess Elisabeth Amalie Eugenie in Bavaria (1837–1898), nicknamed Sisi (or Sissi) was Empress of Austria and Queen of Hungary from her marriage to Emperor Franz Joseph I in 1854 until her assassination in 1898. She came to develop a deep kinship with Hungary, and helped to bring about the dual monarchy of Austria-Hungary in 1867. Her tenure of 44 years was the longest of any Austrian empress.

The Smiley Shop, located in the basement level of the Nagyvásárcsarnok (Great Market Hall), has gained recognition for its unique "pickle art." Peddling an edible folk-art tradition with meticulously arranged sliced vegetables—primarily karfiol (cauliflower), uborka (cucumber), répa (carrot), and paprika—against the glass walls of pickling jars to create intricate patterns and characters.

Nagyvásárcsarnok (Great Market Hall, or Central Market Hall), is the largest and oldest indoor market in Budapest. Designed by Samu Pecz, the neo-gothic hall was commissioned by Mayor Kamermayer Károly and opened in 1897 to centralize food distribution and improve hygiene standards in the rapidly expanding city. The three-level, 10,000-square meter building suffered significant damage during World War II and fell into disrepair before a comprehensive restoration was completed in 1994.
