Liverpool Church. It was a rainy day, so I tried to adjust the image, went a bit far, but I liked the effect so I kept it. Made it look like a movie set, but the poportion is right, this place was HUGE.

Rather than just a quick one-stop, a 2 day visit felt more appropriate.<br /> EasyJet continues to have a major presence at Manchester being the low-cost carrier's second largest base behind London Gatwick but just ahead of Geneva-Cointrin. For EasyJet, Manchester is heavily competitive with low-cost carriers ranging from Jet2 to Ryanair, as well as competing against TUI Airways on charter flights and package holidays.<br /> EasyJet remains a major Airbus customer and the group itself operates over 350 aircraft split between their 3 subsidiaries from EasyJet UK, EasyJet Europe and EasyJet Switzerland. The Airbus A319 fleet continues to be wound down with the fleet expected to be withdrawn by 2027, meanwhile EasyJet operates the largest fleet of Airbus A320s anywhere in the world and in recent years have acquired second-hand examples. EasyJet not only operates an ever growing Airbus A320neo fleet, but the carrier has a massive backlog of Airbus A321neos.<br /> EasyJet mainly bases their Airbus A320 and Airbus A32neo aircraft at Manchester, however very recently the carrier has seen 2 Airbus A321neos being based for the summer schedule.<br /> Currently, EasyJet operates 356 Airbus A320 family aircraft, which includes 82 Airbus A319s (47 with EasyJet UK and 35 with EasyJet Europe), 180 Airbus A320s (82 with EasyJet UK, 74 with EasyJet Europe and 24 with EasyJet Switzerland), 75 Airbus A320neos (50 with EasyJet UK, 18 with EasyJet Europe and 7 with EasyJet Switzerland) and 19 Airbus A321neos (11 with EasyJet UK and 8 with EasyJet Europe).
