This Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 was new to Travel London in December 2006 numbered ES1 and later passed with the Travel London business to Abellio London where it was numbered 8101. Travel London's operations soon after transferred to Abellio London. It was used there until 23rd June 2012, when it transferred to Walworth Garage. It was used there until May 2016 and transferred to Battersea again a month later. It was used there until 17th April 2021. A couple of days later the bus transferred to Beddington Cross garage to be used as a Covid extra for school bus services to help with social distancing. It was last used on 28th May 2021, when it was withdrawn from London service. It entered service with Green Bus Services four months later but was last used with them on 31st March 2023. The bus is now used to promote brands and other services.<br /> <br /> Today also marks the last day of Route 414. Introduced on 23rd November 2002, the route was operated by First London from its Westbourne Park garage, as a route from Maida Vale to Fulham High Street to provide a link from Fulham and South Kensington to Edgware Road and Maida Vale. On 14th June 2003 the route was extended to Putney Bridge Station. On 29th January 2005, the route was diverted away from Maida Vale to terminate at Maida Hill. On 21st November 2009, the contract for the route was passed to Abellio London, who would operate the route for 12 years. On 13th November 2021 the route's contract passed to Tower Transit, returning to Westbourne Park garage. However it was withdrawn between Marble Arch and Maida Hill. Soon after, operations of Tower Transit passed to London Transit, part of the RATP group. The allocated DNH's were changed to ADH's as part of RATP's numbering and lettering system. In September 2024 it was planned for Route 414 to be withdrawn. On 10th December 2024, First were announced to be buying RATP's London operations, which would see Westbourne Park return to First London's operations. It is a Dennis Trident/Alexander ALX400 that was new in 11/2001 to Connex Bus. The previous holder of the franchise to operate the route, Connex had gained a poor reputation for the two rail franchises it had run and threw in the towel with them and the London bus operation in 2004. National Express set up the Travel London subsidiary to take over the Connex Bus fleet and franchised routes. NatEx in turn sold its Travel London operations in 5/2009 to the state-owned Dutch rail operator, Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS), which renamed the subsidiary Abellio London. This operation lasted longer than its predecessors, but the time eventually came for NS to give up on UK bus operations.
